The Little Things is a gentle reminder that even when life feels overwhelming or out of control, we are able to overcome if we keep faith. It is written for her nephew who who struggled with the questions and uncertainties that often come with being in your early 20s and transitioning into adulthood. While reassuring him that this phase is recognizable to many people, Carina also looked back on her own life and the lesson she learned at his age: trust that things will eventually fall into place and why would we worry ourselves to oblivion if we could be living life.

"The idea comes from a piece of advice that was once given to me and that I later passed on to my nephew when he was having a hard time.
At the time, it seemed almost too simple to work, but it is precisely in those small actions that the power lies to shift your attention and reconnect with yourself."
